After a major renovation, the Belluno City Library reopens its doors with a completely renovated look and a strong push toward digital innovation.
Thanks to a partnership with Dot Beyond, the Library is introducing new digital services designed to offer easier, more interactive and inclusive access to knowledge, transforming the citizen experience into an increasingly engaging and accessible journey.
Dedicated and multilingual portal
The web portal, developed on the Sebina platform, offers a clear and accessible overview of all the Library's features and services, also available in English. Users can easily consult information, resources and updates in an intuitive format designed to enhance the Library's bibliographic holdings and expand access to its services, starting with online catalog search and consultation.
Digital Library
Over 200,000 images of manuscripts, searchable and downloadable. With the digital library, users can access high-quality images of manuscripts and historical documents, with IIIF standards for viewing and downloading. A valuable visual heritage now just a click away for a modern, immersive reference experience. In particular, the Beniamino Dal Fabbro Fund, the Giuliano Procacci and Vittorio Varale Funds, the Photographic Fund, and more can be accessed.
The library for the youth
The Belluno City Library dedicates a special space to young readers, with content and services designed to stimulate curiosity and bring them closer to the pleasure of reading. The children's section offers a constantly updated selection of literary novelties, reading suggestions and information on dedicated events and activities. The environment, welcoming and intuitive, makes the library a familiar place to grow and be inspired.
