We helped to realize the complete digital transformation of Biblioteche di Roma (Libraries of Rome), a network of 40 libraries that guarantee free access to knowledge, information, courses, and workshops.
Our SebinaNEXT solution streamlined the management of its library services. To upgrade user experience, Biblioteche di Roma opted for our SabinaYOU software to integrate its catalogs and website. We also created an easy-to-use Library app.
Give the people what they want
Some users know what it is they’re looking for when they visit the Biblioteche di Roma portal, and some don’t. Either way, they should be able to find it.
That’s why we based the design of the new portal on two key concepts: simplification and ease of navigation.
We carefully considered all sections, menus, and submenu items to deliver a seamless experience.
How you communicate is as important as what you communicate.
We supported Biblioteche di Roma in defining a clear digital communication strategy.
We aligned the aesthetic of the portal with this strategy, reflecting the institution’s visual identity in order to link all communicative principals.
A fine-tuned library app
We built the LibraryApp with clean and simple UX as a top priority.
A nine-card home screen gives users an instant overview of the main services on offer, with all available functions then accessible via a side menu.
These include an ISBN code scanner to request book loans and get bibliographic information. Fast. Easy. Efficient.
Libraries are much more than a place to read books, and Biblioteche di Roma is much more than a collective of libraries.
It’s a gateway to a world of inspiration and a sea of information, and it’s a hugely important public resource. It’s now equipped for the digital world of tomorrow, and ready to serve the public in even more efficient and innovative ways.
