In collaboration with TIM Enterprise and Ducati Motor Holding, we have created a unique immersive experience, creating a digital installation dedicated to the legendary Ducati 916. An experience that immerses fans in the history of one of the most iconic bikes ever, thanks to the magic of virtual reality.
Inside the Ducati Museum in Borgo Panigale, an immersive room has been set up where every corner tells the myth of the Ducati 916. Here, tradition and innovation meet, creating a perfect balance between past and future. With a VR visor, visitors are treated to an extraordinary interactive experience, exploring a faithful 3D reconstruction of the bike, created by our 3D modeling and development teams.
The room is designed as a true wunderkammer, where each element tells a fragment of the 916's story. Archival materials - sketches, photographs, technical drawings and magazines - have been transformed into interactive content, making the experience not only visually stunning, but also engaging and educational.
A journey into the myth
The experience is divided into several corners that take the visitor on an emotional and narrative journey: An interactive chest of drawers allows visitors to explore original sketches and negatives, visible through a magnifying glass. A 90s-era technograph, reminiscent of the 916 era, reveals technical details of the bike and features video interviews with Ducati engineers. A totem/booth welcomes visitors with videos from the Ducati Museum curator and historical magazines celebrating the success of the 916. A display board with a map guides visitors to discover the legendary Futa road, the scene of the bike's road tests. A panoramic ledwall projects archival images and memories, creating a unique and evocative atmosphere.

This project is a tangible example of how technology can preserve and tell the story of cultural heritage. Our VR experience, optimized for the latest generation of visors, makes it possible to explore historical materials in an innovative and accessible way, transforming the history of the Ducati 916 into an immersive experience for every visitor.
