IMAGO
Digital Library, SebinaYOU, Web portal
IMAGO is the collective digital catalog that collects graphic, photographic and cartographic works from the cultural institutions of the Emilia-Romagna Region. From prints to photographs, from drawings to postcards, IMAGO allows you to explore a very rich heritage ranging from the 15th to the 21st century, with more than 1 million pieces of bibliographic information, catalogued according to SBN guidelines and standards.
A digital journey through history and art

The large, specialized database, the result of numerous cataloging campaigns, is integrated with a Server Image component of **DAM (Digital Asset Management) **for image processing and Manifest metadata generation. The portal offers easy and intuitive access to a universe of images. You can browse satirical, documentary, allegorical images and more, exploring materials by type, technique or author. IMAGO's editorial team periodically creates dynamic thematic paths, enriching the experience with up-to-date content.
An interoperable and global environment
IMAGO is an interoperable digital environment through the adoption of Linked Open Data (LOD) managed through integration with VIAF and WikiData. Resources in the catalog are linked with other online information from international institutions, creating a global network of data.
IMAGO can also be queried from the Alphabetica Portal, the portal to explore Italy's bibliographic heritage, done in collaboration with Dot Beyond.
